Guess who just got sponsored by Tania Kapila?  You guessed it 🙂

This girl is so fun that her name is Guess.

“What’s her name?”

“Guess!”

“Uh, I don’t know, what is it?”

“Guess”.

“I don’t know!”

It could go on forever…   On our way from the shelter to her foster home, we stopped off for dinner.  She sat quietly throughout the entire dinner, although very interested in a turkey sandwich.  Then we went to Pet Food Express where she walked confidently beside the shopping cart; she met every customer and dog nicely with a wag and a smile.  No one could believe she had come straight from the shelter.  At her foster home, she immediately met 4 dogs and ran with them as if she had known them forever.  This is a great dog!

Guess is about 2 years old.  She’s about 70 pounds and could lose just a few pounds, and we’ve just treated her for fleas.  She will get spayed, and have an umbilical hernia repaired, and then she’ll be ready for adoption.  Seeing her today, in several social situations, it’s evident that she’s been well socialized and is emotionally and behaviorally stable.  She is a turn-key dog.

We know that she is good with other dogs – both girls and boys.  We think she’d be happier with a dog in her life; if that is the case, we’ll make sure that’s what she gets.  Guess expressed nice interest in Test Kitty;  she calls off when she gets too interested.

Guess doesn’t appear to have any training under her collar, but she has exceptional manners.  She has a very soft mouth and a gentle nature about her.  She appears to have all the qualities of a Therapy Dog.  We’ll get to know her personality and then we’ll update her bio.

She’s in the east bay, a level 2, possibly level 1 dog.  And we don’t expect her to be in the program very long…
