Stripey is a one year old Dutch Shepherd. She was in the Oakland shelter, and we held her for North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue. She recently left our building, but while she was with us, these were our observations:
High energy, happy, outgoing, athletic and intelligent
Very friendly, people affectionate and engaging
Loves other dogs: doesn’t bother the quiet ones and plays hard with other players
In true Dutch Shepherd fashion, this girl will need an experienced DS owner, understanding the athleticism, intelligence and quickness of the breed.
