Asher is an owner surrender to us.  He’s about a year old and a nice boy.

This kid comes with some nice manners.  He does crawl up on laps, but doesn’t jump up.  He’s quite affectionate and engages nicely with people.  Asher has previously been reactive to dogs, but we didn’t see this upon introduction to several program dogs.  He played nicely with other dogs when off leash.

Already crate trained and house trained, he will make a nice addition to a family.  He does, though, need obedience training; Asher will be a good student – all the more reason to get training asap.

Asher is about 70 pounds and should not get much bigger, but he does need to put on some weight.  He is a plush coat, which means he’s got lots of fur and he’s very fluffy.  He will need daily brushing to keep his fur mat-free.

Asher loves to play with other dogs; he’s always happy and engaging.  He does resource guard things from other dogs; because of this, Asher will not be adopted to a family with children under 15.
