He’s a cute “Sam” right now, but when he grows up he’ll be a big presence.  He will grow into his name, Samson.

Sam is about 5 months old with a short, size large body.  He has quite a bit of growing to do before he becomes an adult.  The cutest thing about Sam is his very fluffy, plush coat fur.  If you’re used to long coats or plush coats, you understand the daily brushing that Sam will require.

Sam is afraid of people walking up to him.  However, he will come over to people sitting down who gently call him.  He will also cuddle very nicely when you pick him up. 🙂  With gentle encouragement and confidence building, we are sure Sam will learn that people are all good!

Sam is completely comfortable playing with gentle dogs.  We believe another well-mannered, happy, confident dog will help Sam overcome his caution with people.  Sam is also good with cats.

Sam will be hanging around for a while as he becomes more relaxed and confident.  He is in an east bay foster home.
