Lewis.  What a sweetie.  He’s soft and gentle and submissive.  He’s a two year old boy with a light sable coat.

Lewis walked into his foster home as if he had been there forever.  He immediately gets along with all dogs and people.  He plays gently and is an all-around nice guy.  Lewis met Professional Test Kitty; he should not live with cats.

Because Lewis is submissive, he would do well with a confident dog.  If he’s an only dog, which is fine, his owners must be true leaders to lead him successfully into new situations.  He is not fearful or timid; rather, he IS not confident.  He’s very friendly, rolling over to get belly rubs.  He jumps up on people for pets and reassurance.  He’s very sweet but needs to learn not to jump up.  Lewis does resource guard his toys from other dogs. He does not resource guard from people.  

We will look for a home for Lewis without small children or elderly folks due to him jumping up.  Lewis is a sweet guy, thus a level 2 dog, in the east bay.
