Hi! I’m Benelli. My friends call me Nelli for short. I’m a 4 year old, small, girl GSD and weigh about 45 pounds.

I would love an active family who wants to do things with me. I will also bond very closely with my family and look out for them. I probably would really enjoy dog sports too. I have a classic GSD temperament and my new friends at BAGSR say that I exude GSD working potential. I would not be a good fit in a family who expects a chill dog. I like to do stuff.

I enjoy attention from my family. I especially love the men and it would be perfect to have a male leader in my family. I really like kids too.

Fetch with a ball is one of my favorite games and can be kind of obsessive about it.

I like other dogs just fine and won’t get involved with dogs who create havoc in the dog park. That’s not my thing. I prefer playing ball with my people.

I have nice house manners and I like my crate as long as the door stays open-haha. If it’s closed I work to break out!

I walk nicely on leash and I know some basic obedience. I’d love to learn more though….you know, that whole working dog thing. I would love dog school too.

When I was younger I hurt one of my back legs. It’s fully healed but I don’t like people touching it. I’ll just move away. It doesn’t affect my activity for sure.

I should live with a family who has experience with working breeds so they will know what I need to have a happy life and provide me with the structure and leadership that will help me be the best I can be.
