There are several Shepherds alongside the German.  Most sought after are the Belgian and Dutch.  If you’re looking for a Belgian Shepherd (Malinois), Allie the Mallie might be the ticket.  

Allie is about a year old.  She’s a tiny little thing with tons of Mal energy.  But unlike a typical Mal, she holds still long enough to get petted; she’s a real sweetie. She does jump up on humans, but she is quite gentle, just asking for face rubs.  She was an owner surrender due to her extreme energy level.

While Allie has a lot of energy, she is not a working mal.  She enjoys playing with toys and sticks and anything else she can make into a toy.  She does very well with other dogs, leading the pack in a game of run and be chased.  When she met Professional Test Kitty, Test Kitty head-bonked Allie several times, asking for attention.  Allie responded in kind.

Allie’s new owners must have successful Mal experience.  She’s a level 2 dog in the East bay.
