Hi! I’m Astra. I’m a 13 month old bouncy gangly puppy. I am a medium sized girl at about 62 pounds and may be mixed with something like a livestock guardian breed.

I am very people friendly and eager to please.

I get along with other dogs but still need to learn about personal space and practice using good dog manners when I play. I am a high energy, rough player.

I walk OK on leash but do bark with excitement when I see other dogs.

I definitely need training and, of course, dog school would really help me learn to be the best that I can be.

Something you should know about me is that it’s critical to my development into a proper young lady for my socialization with other dogs and with life experiences in general to continue. To adopt me, experience with us GSDs is a must.

I am a good listener and respond appropriately when corrected.

I also rode nicely in the car on my freedom ride from the shelter.

My ideal home will be with humans who want to spend time with me, work with me and teach me things. I know there’s lots of fun and many escapades to be had!

My new friends say that I’m a sweet girl and will be a terrific companion for an experienced owner.

I’ll be waiting in Windsor. Hope to meet you!
