My name is Babka! I’m a 12 month old girl GSD and I weigh about 55 pounds. I’m a super affectionate girl and love to give kisses and like to get lots of attention from my people.

My foster dad says I talk a lot; I make funny groans, whines and whimpers. He actually says I’m a bit of a drama queen….nothing wrong with that I say!

I’m rather on the submissive side and need an adopter who will work with me to continue to build my confidence. I would benefit from having a well-behaved dog sibling to show me the ropes. I’m a quick learner too.

I’m an energetic puppy so it’s not recommended that I live with small children but older, respectful kids would probably be fun for me.

I get along well with my foster dog siblings and am even good with our neighborhood cat. I love to give him kisses. So, if you have a cat, no problem.

I’m learning what is expected of me in the house and am coming along nicely. I sometimes test the boundaries so will need an adopter who is fair and firm and who will clearly let me know what is expected of me. When I’m inside the  house, I will alarm bark when I hear or see something outside. And when I’m outside on a walk, I’m pretty good. I’m getting the hang of the leash. I don’t pull but I like to go at a fast pace. I’m also good in the car and like to go.

Something you should know about me is that I really enjoy the yard-watching squirrels, taking a nap and just enjoying the fresh air. I will enjoy long walks maybe some hikes and getting out and about. I’m also rather athletic. I think I’d really enjoy some obedience and/or agility fun.
