My name is Black Bart. I’m a 5 year old GSD and I weigh 68 pounds but I’m pretty thin right now and will gain some weight with a healthy diet. Thankfully my new friends from BAGSR got me out of the shelter. I didn’t enjoy it there at all.

I am a calm friendly boy – very loving and gentle. I like other dogs just fine too.

I rode in the van very nicely from the shelter to my foster home and I settle down easily in a crate. I have some training under my belt. I definitely know the basics – sit, wait and I walk nicely on leash. I’ll pull if you allow it but I do know better.

I really like to “work” and am very ball driven. I love to play ball! I’ll do best with an active family so I can be kept busy. I’d like to be kept active and stimulated with ball games or some sort of sport appropriate for my age. I love water too. I like to play with and bite it – haha.
