I’m Brody! I’m a 4 year old GSD. I’m a healthy black and tan boy and weigh about 78 strong yet gentle pounds.

I am friendly, engaging and take treats gently. I’m super affectionate and will lean on you to show you how much I love your company.

I rode in the car to my foster home without making a peep. I also willingly load into my crate. I’ll need clear leadership and someone with working dog experience just because I’ll need someone to teach me the things that all good dogs should know. I’m so willing to learn and am a very easy going, happy boy.

I’m doing great with my leash skills and am friendly with people and other dogs when I’m out for a walk. I’ve got some basic obedience under my belt and dog school would be super fun for me! You’ll be impressed with how fast I pick things up too.

I am good with other dogs-both big and small. But, NO cats for me please!

I’m not much of a ball dog but I’m sure we can think of lots of other fun things to do.

My ideal adopter would include me in activities. I will make an awesome walking partner and I love hikes, picnics, car rides and just hanging out in the coffee shop. New things and noises don’t bother me when I am out and about. I love to stay busy with my people and of course will need adequate exercise and mental stimulation.

Something you should know about me is that I don’t need activity to the level of a dog who works every day but I’m definitely no lawn ornament! Regular daily fun will be just fine for me and keep me happy.

After a fun day, I sleep quietly in my dog bed right next to my foster mom.

My new friends think I will make a terrific companion dog.
