It looks like Little Burgi’s Roma is going to be a big pup.  He is about 6 months old and very substantial.

Roman just completed the Family Dog 1 at the Marin Humane Society.  He was the star student and learned recall, sit, down and ‘place’.  He also learned basic agility and he loves it!  You just have to point, and he does it all on his own.

Roman has lived with a doggie door and is trustworthy at that.  His favorite reward is to play tug – even more than a food reward.  He sleeps in a crate at night, loves to play with other dogs, will back down in any confrontation and loves, loves, loves affection.  He eagerly cuddles into people’s legs for affection.  He also doesn’t know how to hold his licker.

He gains his confidence with other dogs and would greatly benefit from lots of exercise with his humans.  He IS still a puppy and thus has lots of busy puppy behavior.  Roman’s new family must have working dog puppy experience and/or extensive GSD experience.

Roman barks at kitties in his foster home.  We have not allowed him to go free-roam with kitty.

Roman is a level 4 dog – a puppy!
