Many thanks to Cathy Catterson for sponsoring Calhoun – WOOF, WOOF!
When you adopt a BAGSR dog, the last thing you should worry about is your new dog’s health. When you see this sign, you know that our volunteers & donors have ensured:
Your dog has a clean bill of health for heartworm, fleas and parasites. Your dog has received monthly medication to make sure the bugs stay away. Your dog has been spayed or neutered. Your dog has been microchipped and you’ll be added to the registration. Your dog is current on rabies and DHLPP vaccines. Your dog has been eating good food and we will give you some to take home.
We want you to adopt your new dog with confidence. Thanks to all our BAGSR donors and volunteers who made this possible!
Gender: Neutered male
Age: 1.5 years
Energy Level: High, needs exercise and would benefit from more training (he knows the basics)
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown (he does have a high prey drive, so cats are probably not recommended)
Other: He is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations
An ideal home for Calhoun would include: An experienced owner who is active and can provide Calhoun with the opportunity to learn/train and accompany the family on outdoor adventures. Sharing the home with another dog would be great! He is ready to reach his full potential and will make a wonderful addition to the family.
Calhoun is living in the East bay with his foster family.
