Charlie Bug is about 9 months old. He is GSD / Malinois mix with qualities from each breed, needing a strong owner and leader to be a great pet. He is almost too smart for his own good, oftentimes testing the limits as smart dogs can do. On the other hand, he can be as loving as a cute submissive puppy. He doesn’t have working potential, but he has energy to burn and will need lots of focused attention, training and direction. Charlie is a real challenge, but he’s a fun challenge!  

Charlie is living with several foster dogs of all ages. He is a ‘ruff’ and tumble hard player with equal dogs or weaker, but when corrected by an alpha dog, he will immediately correct off of his behavior.  

Charlie has nice manners, he is house trained, he sleeps in a crate at night and he loves car rides.  Charlie will make a great exercise partner, either hiking or running; he’s lean and can really keep up!

Because Charlie is smart, part Malinois and a puppy, he is a level 4 dog. His new owner will need to have had Malinois or similar experience.
