ME

Hi! I’m Charlize! I’m a 15 week old girl GSD mix and currently weigh about 28 lbs. I’m sweet, potty trained (if you keep me on routine) and sleep through the night…. wait, did I say potty trained and sleep through the night? I’m a good puppy!!

I was a tiny bit shy when I got to my foster home but now I can’t wait to meet people and sit next to them for attention and kisses, if I can. I already look to my foster mom for guidance and the next command. Even though I don’t know what commands are yet, I am ready to learn. I love fetch and Kongs with treats in them. I naturally sit when someone is holding a treat and I would certainly benefit from more training. My current foster mom has zoom meetings, whatever those are, and I rest at her feet while she works. When work is done, I hope to spend free time playing fetch with my puppy Kong and going places and learning new things. Dog school sounds good to me, too!

I’m a healthy youngster with a great appetite and I like to eat in my crate. I’m learning to walk at my foster mom’s side and I look at her each time she stops. I also enjoy tummy rubs, cuddles, and meeting new dog friends. My other hobbies include chasing the Kong, eating my fuzzy squirrel squeaker, and playing with other chew toys.
I’m good in the car and I’ll make a great travel companion. It would be great to accompany you on errands when weather permits.
If you’d like to meet me, I’ll be waiting with my foster mom in Novato.

Experience with GSDs or other working/herding breeds is required. Also, young puppies cannot be left alone more than a couple of hours at a time.
