Thank you Andrew Cummings for sponsoring these two pals!!!! We are delighted to introduce you to Chloe Valentine (the GSD) and her sweet friend Buddy (a Jack Russell mix). This adorable pair came into the shelter together as strays. Chloe had on a bright red no pull harness and we fully expected them to be reclaimed in a flash. Sadly no one came to get them and the shelter reached out to see if BAGSR wanted to meet this beautiful sable girl. Chloe Valentine is about 10 months old and as sweet as her name implies. This girl has a full body wiggle, leans in for hugs and lights up when her Buddy comes into view. When we saw the two of them together we knew that we had to try and find a home where they could stay together. Chloe is a quick study and wants to please.  She will bark at passing dogs and is easily redirected. This is a training issue that will be quickly mastered by an owner who works with her. Buddy is about a year old and initially presented as timid. He walked slowly on the lead with his tail low until he spotted Chloe and then we watched him blossom. Buddy wagged, played and happily solicited attention from the people around him once Chloe was by his side. He’s adorable! If you have ever had a best friend you will understand what a gift it would be if they can be adopted together. We know that is not always possible so feel free to go see our wonderful partners at the Humane Society of the North bay in Vallejo and ask to see one or both of these wonderful dogs. http://www.hsnb.org/ (707) 645-7905
