ME

My name is Chunk! I’m a 12 week old GSD/Husky/Dobie mix. I am a sweet, playful, healthy puppy. I am friendly and affectionate with everyone.

My friends at BAGSR say that it’s super important for me to go to a home where my new family will spend lots of time teaching me things and helping me grow up to be the best that I can be. This includes plenty of training and socialization with all kinds of people and other animals.

You know about puppy teeth right? Razor sharp and we want to chew on everything (including people) so I’ll need lots of my own stuff to chew on. I’ll go through various stages of growth both physically and mentally and will need a family who can help me through all of it.

My new humans must also have an abundance of patience and a good sense of humor to trek with me through my puppy antics. Also, I cannot be left alone very long and in fact my new human must be able to keep me company for most of the day on a regular basis.

I already know to go outside for potty and will let you know if I have to go out. I have been learning some of the basics like sit, down, and come. My foster mom says I’m a quick learner and I already know to sleep quietly beside her bed in my own dog bed.

While with consistent socialization I am sure to grow up loving other animals, sometimes puppies can be too much for older or shy dogs, cats or other pets.

If you’d like to meet me, I’ll be waiting with my  foster family in San Jose.
