The Beans litter arrived at their foster home on December 8, after 5 days of being cooped up in a small kennel at a shelter and a long car ride. They were thin and a little shut down initially, but with a week of being able to run and play and have plenty of good food and lots of attention, they have turned into strong, healthy, fun and affectionate love bugs! They battle for the first kiss when they are let out in the morning, and love to snuggle in a lap before bed at night. This really intelligent litter is also very agile and athletic, and a couple of them have blue eyes, so they may be a GSD/Border Collie/Husky mix.
Coffee Bean is named for his deep brown coffee-colored eyes and Coffee is the most Shepherd looking of the group. He is one of 2 boys in the litter, and while his brother, Jelly, is an outgoing boisterous pup, Coffee is more the sweet, sensitive type. He is about 20 pounds now at 3 months old, so on track to be around 80 pounds when full gown.
Experience with GSDs or other working/herding breeds is a must for these puppies. Also, puppies cannot be left alone more than a couple of hours at a time.
