With a look like this, how could she not be a fun girl?

Dafne is about 9 months old.  She is mellow.  M.e.l.l.o.w.  This last weekend she went on a hike with a volunteer; the volunteer felt bad that she had to wake Dafne to begin the walk.  🙂  On the walk Daf did well and greeted all the wonderful people.  

Dafne is a fantastic player with  younger dogs; she’s fostered with a 12 week old pup.  Dafne rolls on her back and lets the puppy jump all over her.  Daf has a very gentle mouth and couldn’t be any more gentle to the pup.  With larger dogs, she is just as good, always involved in nice, fair play; we consider her a gentle rough and tumble player.  She does resource guard her toys and food from other dogs, so we would suggest she be the only dog in her family.  Dafne passed the Test Kitty test!  Dafne said hi to the kitty, sniffed, looked away and then walked away.  We tried this a few times, and Dafne even lost interest in following test kitty through the house.

This cutie pie is gentle, doesn’t jump up and is submissive but still very happy.  She sleeps in a crate at night and sleeps through the night.  If you’re looking for a low-key, fun, happy and cute youngster, check her out!  Dafne’s going to be a nice girl.  She’s a level 4 dog because of her age, but her personality is level 2.
