DALLAS WOULD LIKE TO THANK CHRIS L FOR SPONSORING HIM. HE’S A BIG BOY AND LOVES HIS TREATS!!  🙂

Hi! I’m Dallas. I’m a GSD blend of maybe Anatolian Shepherd. I’m about 12 months old and weigh approximately 85 pounds but I will probably get a little bigger. I’m a tall boy and I’ve heard people say that I am stunning and I notice that my one floppy ear makes people smile.

I have a soft coat and I enjoy being brushed and am cooperative being handled.

My demeanor is easy-going, good natured and friendly. I’m really affectionate too. I get all wiggly and happy when I see kids but since I’m so big, small children in my family are not recommended. Sometimes I’m so happy I jump up but I’m trying to quit!!

I enjoy playing with other dogs and don’t mind the littles, however because I’m a big guy and still young myself, I may be too much for a small dog. I do get a little excited when I see a new dog friend and will need a gentle reminder to use my manners.

During my transition to BAGSR, I did come across some cats and didn’t really notice them. So, I may be cat workable.

Like most of us youngsters, I would really benefit from training. I do have some basics in place and am a quick learner. I’m eager to please and am treat motivated.

I am not high energy but love to get out and about and I really enjoy using my nose. I ride nicely in the car and really like to hang my head out the window however my foster mom says this is not safe. I will jump into most cars but sometimes it takes me a minute to get out as I’m a little nervous about this part of the whole ride thing. I’ll do it on my own if I just have time to evaluate the jump.

My new friends say that I am a sweet, silly youngster and will bring lots of joy to my new family.

If you’d like to meet me, I’ll be waiting in Santa Rosa.
