ME

Hi! I’m Dash. I’m a not quite two year old GSD with a very pretty longish coat and I weigh about 65 pounds. I’m a friendly, affectionate boy.

I get along with other dogs. I have a gentle demeanor even with rude littles and don’t seem to notice wildlife so I may be cat workable. I am a recently neutered teenager and still can be distracted by dogs I find attractive.

Sometimes my foster sister and I like to play loudly in GSD style; it’s all in good fun.

My foster dad is teaching me things and I’ll need an adopter who will continue my training. I think leash walks are fantastic and will make a great walking partner. If I’m allowed to sniff along the way, our walks may take a while. I love to sniff! But, I can be taught to keep moving. I think it would be great to do a little of both!

I’ve mastered the stairs in my foster home and have nice house manners. I’m still young so occasionally I’ll pick up something that doesn’t belong to me. Until now, I lived outside so I’m still learning what’s expected of me inside but I’m doing pretty well. And I do know to go potty outside.

I enjoy chewing so I would love it if my new family will provide me with lots of my own chew toys.

I wasn’t exposed to much before my new friends with BAGSR took me in so things like vacuum cleaners-especially those that run by themselves – baffle me! I think it’s fun to see all of these new things!

I am quiet in the car and enjoy the ride.

I’ll make a fun companion so I hope you’d like to meet me. I’ll be waiting with my foster family in San Jose.
