Dixie is very people friendly. She happily meets everyone, including young children (8-10 years old). She walks well on the leash and has a lot of pep in her step.
Dixie is very dog friendly. She may bark a few times out of excitement but her greetings are very appropriate and gentle. She met the neighbor’s dog and they were quick friends. She is living with a chi and pittie. Very nice dog/dog energy. We tested her with cats and she was purrrfect!
Dixie does appear to have a little arthritis as she will skip a step once in a while. Regular exercise and a little weight loss (not much) would certainly help her. She jumped in and out of a vehicle with no problems and she loves to go.
Dixie is a really nice dog and would be an excellent companion for a family, kids, single person, dogs, probably cats, another easy dog that does not want to play rough. She is up for a walk, car ride, or just hanging out. She is completely house trained. Dixie is living with her owner in Santa Rosa while we find her new home.
