Duko represents the Senior Citizens at BAGSR.  And he’s a cutie.  Duko spends his days napping in the sun on either a comfy bed or on the lawn. When he wakes, he smiles at everyone.  He’s too stiff to run the track, and he has little interest in playing games, but he is very nice to everyone – a real Mr. Social.  

He loves to eat his meals with gravy and chicken broth. While others his age may take lots of medication, Duko takes only 50 mg of carprofen with every meal; this makes him very happy.  In fact, we found him trotting behind Ava the other day.  Yes, he is feeling quite good with a full tummy, lots of love and good friends.

Duko is a wonderful and sweet gentleman. He is housebroken and mostly just wants to be napping on a bed near his people.  He solicits play in the afternoons from his younger dog buddies, but nothing too wild happens during play.

Sometimes he even grabs toys and anything he can reach to show his excitement, it’s very cute!

Duko looks so handsome after his tubby and really enjoys being brushed and groomed. He also seems to enjoy affection from the little children in his foster home. 

He should settle in quickly with any family that is home a lot and wants to treat him like the special gent that he is. 

His foster family his enjoying every minute with him, he’s a wonderful dog! 

If you have room in your heart and home for this man of 12 years, you’ll really enjoy him.  He’s easy, sweet, funny and happy.
