Hi! I’m Gage! I’m a 4 year old boy black and tan GSD and weigh about 70 pounds. I’m a little bit on the thin side. I should gain a bit of weight but not too much! I’d like to maintain a healthy, athletic physique.

I am quite agile and can climb a 4 foot fence with no problem and I’ll do it too….to be with my people. So, I’ll need a home with secure fencing for sure!

I am super social and love to be with people. I am also friendly with other dogs-even the rude littles don’t bother me. So far I haven’t chased the cats I’ve met so I just may enjoy a cat sibling.

I like to play ball and like to chew on Kongs.

I’m polite in the car and enjoy the ride. I am fine in a crate too.

I was a bit nervous at the vet and didn’t really like the poking and prodding. I tried to get away from the person with the needle! Maybe some “happy visits” to the vet will help me relax when I have to go again for a real exam/procedure.

I am a very good listener and can’t wait to find my forever home and continue learning. I’m pretty good on leash and with some practice will get even better. I love to get out and explore so leash walks would be great fun.
