I’m Gator, a big, handsome Belgian Malinois approximately 2 years old, that has more of a laid back, pet like attitude that is not always the case with my breed.

My rescue life started out by being confiscated from an abandoned property and taken to a shelter. My friends at BAGSR liked me a lot and thought I might make a good search dog. Some nice guys with lots of working dog experience evaluated me and saw some potential and took me to their academy for about 6 weeks. They really liked me but came to the conclusion that I was more of a family boy than a working dog. I like people more than finding things (well, treats do come in a close second). I came back to BAGSR and am now looking for my forever home.

I am a love bug and take great joy in putting my big head in laps and seeking love (and treats). I will need training and exercise but I am smart and willing. I took a little too much interest in a cat I saw, so probably best I avoid them. I am fine with other dogs though.
