If Gita were a human, she’d be a tom-boy.  She’s got a strong, sturdy, heavy body.  She can be aloof but she also loves belly rubs.  

Gita, pronounced Gheeta, is between 1 and 2 years old.  We think she didn’t have much experience with dogs but she’s settled in nicely with other foster dogs.  She hangs out nicely with them, but she does not play with them.  She is good with cats.

Gita hasn’t had any training but she is compliant and has nice manners.  She is quiet all night long in her crate.  She does bark in the yard, so she should not go to a home where she’s alone all day long.  She’s not a dog that needs another dog.  To keep her mind busy, she would do well as a running buddy, hiking buddy or bike buddy.  This girl would like to be an active part of her new family.

Gita is a level 2 dog in the east bay.
