Honey Bee would like to say a big thank you to Kristen Ott for sponsoring her!

Honey Bee is a sweet girl in a tomboy kind of way and she’s very goofy.  She’s like a very happy bucking bronco, with body parts moving in every direction.  When she is told to contain herself, she stops and then barks a funny bark.  She’s got a great personality.  Honey already has some of the basics for ‘talking’, but she would likely learn more with help from her human.  Did we say she’s a goof?  Yes she is!  She is so hard to correct for barking when she purposely barks a donkey sounding noise.

Honey Bee is a bit over a year.  She is a very rough and tumble player, which some dogs do not take to. She is not a good dog park dog because of this, but we cannot stress what a great people dog she is.     Honey Bee will bond quickly with a very strong leader who will be diligent in training and give her lots of fun exercise.

Honey sleeps quietly in a crate at night; but, she does make a bit of noise when she thinks it’s time to play. When told to be quiet, she gives that funny bark; she just wants to have fun.

Honey Bee is a playful gentle pup with people and enjoys an active lifestyle; she currently takes two hour hikes in open space daily. She is trustworthy in the house and likes to follow her people wherever they go. She shares her toys and treats with her canine pals and sleeps quietly in a crate at night. Honey Bee gives nice soft kisses and loves belly rubs and watching the Animal Planet. She has very large feet and sometimes trips over them when running down the stairs with her sisters. Honey Bee happily shares the couch or sleeps on one of the dog beds in the evening and has been known to carry around shoes or socks that are left on the floor.

Honey Bee is reactive on leash with other dogs because she wants so badly to play.  Her foster mom has enrolled her in a Reactive Dog Class at Marin Humane to work with her on that.

Honey has a very strong prey drive.  No kitties or critters in her life.

She is a level 3 dog in the east bay.  She will benefit from training, and she’ll be a great people dog.
