ME

Hi! I’m Indianapolis – my friends call me Indy for short. I’m a 12 month old girl GSD mix and am a friendly, wiggly girl who loves new friends, pets and belly rubs. I’m a petite youngster and weigh about 59 pounds. I’m also speedy and love to run – hence the name!

I am super affectionate and loving.

I am a bit undersocialized and I’ll need a self-assured handler who can teach me about new things in a way that I can continue to build confidence. I’ll need time to get used to things at my own pace and with someone who can lead me.

I like to chase stuff like cats, squirrels and birds so my foster mom is working with me on leash manners. I’d love an active lifestyle as I have lots of energy and really enjoy all things athletic. A good walk or run daily will be essential for my well-being.

I’m great in the car, but sometimes on long rides my stomach gets upset. Hopefully I’ll grow out of that.

I can be fearful when I meet other dogs however after slow introductions I will likely be fine and may like a dog sibling who can show me the ropes. I love to play with dogs after proper introductions and my play style is rough and tumble.

I’m learning house manners but sometimes jump up to see what’s on the counter. I do know to go potty outside though. I’ll need to learn all of the basics and I bet I would love dog school too.

If I’m left unattended in a yard, I may look for a way out so until I get settled into my new home and am comfortable there, I should be closely supervised.

I’ll be waiting in Mountain View. Hope to meet you!
