Hi I’m Kestrel! I’m a one and a half year old Dutch Shepherd girl. I am lean and stunning with good tug drive and some basic training in place.

I have a solid temperament and a GREAT nose. I am loving, relational, and wicked smart. I can display arousal when I get excited so I need a home that understands our breed and who will provide me with the ongoing training and activities that I relish and need. And BTW-I am a great listener and am eager to please!

I walk nicely on a back clip harness and I love people. I take treats softly, greet everyone like an old friend. Cats though-they me go CRAZY!! Can you say PREY DRIVE? I may turn into a wild thing so no cats for me please.

I sometimes bark and pull hard when I see a dog and I am on lead but I’ve been working on that where I’m staying now.

I truly enjoy car rides and will love to go on new adventures with my new people.

Something you should know about me is that I can jump high and am quite athletic. I still need to learn manners and what is expected of a smart youngster like me. I’d love a family or companion who shares my zest for action. On the flip-side, I give true hugs!
