Hi! My name is Lailani. My new friends at BAGSR think it’s a beautiful name….Aww… and I like it!  

I’m a 6 year old GSD. I’m a petite girl and I weigh about 60 pounds.

I am very people friendly and I am looking for a family who will do things with me. I am active and I know I would enjoy dog school where I can learn new things and practice being around other dogs. I still need a bit of practice on leash – I pull a little and can be reactive to other dogs. But if you will spend some time with me, I will likely learn to be more tolerant of other dogs I see while I’m on leash. I just haven’t had a chance to practice good leash manners. The place I stay now is working with me being around other dogs. I do fine with a lot of dogs in the pack but can be a bit territorial with my bed.

Something you should know about me is that I am a good listener and correct easily. I also have very nice house manners.

I may be best as an only dog until I have more exposure and practice being around other dogs but my previous owner said I am OK with cats.

I hope you’d like to help me blossom into an awesome easy-going walking companion; I didn’t have much exposure to such regular things in my younger years. I would love to make up for it now! I may be able to teach you something about yourself while you are teaching me. We GSDs can be sneaky that way…..

Oh…I also have a super cute tail-free bunny butt-haha.

While I wait for my forever family, I am staying with my foster family in Tracy.
