Lobo is a stunning and sociable, 11 month old GSD.  He has had basic puppy  training, is house-trained, leash-trained, crate trained (though doesn’t need crating) and enjoys rides in the car. He appears to be a well balanced dog who could use some additional training classes and leash work, but will make a nice family dog.  

During his evaluation, he was very friendly when meeting the evaluator and took treats gently as well. He met several other dogs and did very well, but will bark back at reactive dogs. He is easily redirected with food motivation and would enjoy continuing his training in a new home. 

Lobo has a normal energy level for an 11 month old Shepherd and will do best in an home with an opportunity to go on outings and take long walks/jogs/hikes with his new family. He has been well socialized with children and should be fine in a home with kids. Cats are unknown.

Unfortunately, though he is well-loved, he is being rehomed because his owners live in a very small apartment and are expecting a baby. We hope that we can find him a nice, big yard and an active family going forward.
