Loved this dog!

Luke is a beautiful and sociable, 14 month old purebred male GSD.  He has had solid basic training, is house-trained, leash-trained, and enjoys rides in the car. He has had a great start in life and will make a nice family dog.

During his evaluation, he was very friendly when meeting the evaluator and two children. He also did we’ll meeting other dogs on the leash and was not reactive towards other dogs on leash. Currently, he is a dog park regular and is reportedly wonderful there with dogs of all sizes.

Luke has a low-normal energy level for a 14 month old Shepherd and will do best in an home with an opportunity to go on outings and take long walks/jogs/hikes with his new family. We suspect he will be good with children, but he is large and still jumps to greet people. For this reason, we recommend kids over age 5 so that they will not get accidentally knocked over.

He is a happy, sociable fellow who would best be appreciated by a family with large breed experience.

Luke is a courtesy posting and currently lives in San Jose.Unfortunately, he is being rehomed because his owners’ work schedules no longer allow them to continue the wonderful care he has been getting.
