ME

Hi! My name is Lupin. I’m a 2 year old, healthy GSD and weigh about 78 pounds.

I am friendly and enjoy meeting new people. My foster family says that I am a very sweet boy with a peaceful demeanor.

I am cooperative and allow all over handling and grooming. I was amazing at the dog doc and impressed everyone there.

I love to get out and about and really enjoy hikes with my people. I can easily enjoy a 7 mile hike! I hop right in the car and ride politely too.

I’ll need some training, but I am terrific on leash. I really want to please so I’ll be a quick learner. I will also make a terrific daily walking companion!

I get along well with other dogs and have been learning good doggie manners from my foster siblings. I also usually meet new dogs calmly and politely. I will talk back if another dog acts aggressive toward me or my people. I’m definitley not a push over.

I do have a high prey drive and will look for wildlife when I’m out and about and try to pester the cat at my foster home. My foster family is working with me on this though and I’m making slow progress.

I am learning about toys and like to play fetch…..and when I’m done, I hide the toy-haha.

After some initial small accidents at my foster home I’m now properly house trained. I also don’t mind a crate.

I really stick close to my foster dad especially when he’s working or relaxing and I’m sure to bond closely with my new people.

My foster family say the photos of me really don’t do me justice so if you’d like to come see for yourself, I’ll be waiting with them in Morgan Hill. Hope to meet you!
