My name is Macey! I’m a healthy 11 month old girl GSD mix – maybe with husky, and I’m about 55 pounds.

My new friends at BAGSR say that I have a sweet and gentle demeanor. I am tentative with the uncertainty at the shelter but I am trusting of the people taking care of me. I love the attention I get from them and I reciprocate by giving them my full devotion. I am quite social. I am eager to please and will be sure to work hard to figure out what’s expected of me.

I could use some training but I am, after all, still a youngster. I would love to work with my new family to learn obedience skills. I am already pretty good on leash and take verbal cues really well. I’m not super treat motivated but love praise and affection and am a quick learner.

I am eager to engage with new friends especially after I get to know them for a few minutes. It doesn’t take me long to warm up!

I met a few cats at the shelter where I’m staying and their presence doesn’t make me crazy but … cats may be fun to chase. I’m what you might call cat workable because it’s likely that I can learn to be respectful of cats.

I am appropriate and friendly with other dogs too. Consistent with my general demeanor I won’t dive in and be rough and tumble with other dogs….at least until I get to know them.
