Mason is a 1 year old, “GSD” Cattle dog mix and weighs about 40 pounds. BAGSR got him out of the shelter and he is now living with his current foster family of one work-from-home human and two seasoned “GSD” Cattle dog mixes. He is an easy going, fun loving, curious and confident little guy, with plenty of life and love to give.
He is working with us on a few basic commands, and he learns by watching us, and also trial and error. He likes being with his person, and tends to follow him around. But, he also really likes his foster dog siblings and likes to play and hang around with them, too.
Mason likes going for walks and car rides. He’s still learning the ropes of both, but he’s doing well and enjoys being out. He’s seen some cats out and about, and seems interested, but not in a totally predatory way. So, there’s potential for him to have the right cat friends, with the right people guiding him. He seems a little less friendly towards the squirrels in the back yard…
Mason is young and energetic, but also smart and curious, so he’ll need his people to keep him properly directed through his journey. In the meantime, he’ll be learning the ropes and waiting with hope with his foster family in Sacramento.
