ME

Hi! My name is Maximus; my friends call me Max for short. I’m a 3 year old boy GSD with a long, plush coat. I am a BIG boy with a strong, sturdy physique. I look very much like a Shiloh Shepherd

By nature, I am quite friendly and am confident with a stable demeanor. I notice new things but don’t get scared.

I’m good with other dogs and my instincts with them are sound. I don’t freak out even if they do-haha. I’m fine with cats too. I actually don’t really have much of a prey drive-I don’t have interest in ducks or geese either.

I’m certainly affectionate with people; I sure don’t hesitate to lean in for hugs!

I have nice house manners and lived much of my life with a small child. I’m also used to having someone home with me most of the time. I’m great in the car and in my crate.

I need to brush up on my obedience skills . I like to jump up and lick faces. I also pull hard on leash but with the proper equipment and some practice I’m sure to be great out on walks. Something you should know about me is that I’m a great listener and want to please.

My new friends think that I will be an awesome companion dog for a lucky adopter. I’m sure to bond quickly and closely.  I have lived with my family since I was six weeks old and am only being rehomed because they were deployed. A lot changes in a short time for me! My new family will need to be patient and understand that I am feeling a little bit confused and worried about where my family went.

I hope you’d like to meet me. I’ll be waiting with my friends in Windsor.
