Sweet Melissa  ” Missy”

Missy came into the shelter as a stray and looking as if she had recently weaned puppies. We think this beautiful sable girl is only 12-18 months old and she is still very puppyish.

Missy needs training and she will need lots of practice meeting new dogs but we were able to introduce her without any issues. She does get excited and pull but we did not see any aggression. She is very sweet with people, happy to meet and one thing you might like to know is that Missy LOVES to follow her nose.

We don’t know about cats. She did pass some on our walk but was so intent on sniffing the ground that she paid them no attention.

Scent work may be a fun part of her future.
