Mendo is a five month old pup that has not experienced much in life.  He is not fearful, he just doesn’t know that people are good and want to love on him.  He will roll over for body rubs when he’s completely comfortable, but he needs a lot more of this lovin’.

He’s not been out in the world, so sights and sounds can make him a bit nervous. We are confident that Mendo will unfold nicely, but it is going to take him.  We do not expect him to be ready for his new home for at least a few weeks.  Perhaps in June he will be confident enough to leave the nest.

He has huge feet and prances – so sweet.  He feels completely comfortable with dogs.  If we place him in a home with other dogs, he may ‘hide’ behind another dog, or he night allow other dogs to lead him in life.  If he isn’t placed with another dog, he should bond nicely with his people, but he will want to romp with other dogs.

As we learn more we will update his bio.
