ME

My name is Nara! I’m an 8 month old healthy, girl GSD and weigh about 55 pounds so far.

I already have some training basics under my belt but will need an owner who is committed to teach me more. I know to go potty outside and come when I’m called. I am treat motivated, a good listener and I’m eager to please. I’m a bit sensitive so will need someone who will teach me things using a gentle style and as I learn about the world around me, I’ll need fair boundaries. Lots of positive reinforcement will be the best way for me to learn new things.

I love to play with other dogs and I’m doing great with my canine foster siblings. Sometimes my feelings get hurt when one of them corrects me and I run to my foster mom for sympathy.

I was pretty scared at the vet but the vet staff took their time with me and eventually I became more comfortable. It would be great if my new family will take me places to slowly introduce me to new places. I’m pretty confident in my familiar surroundings but we puppies need lots of new experiences so that we can continue to learn about the world around us.

I can be apprehensive and barky when I meet new dogs but as soon as I know they will be friends I calm down and go back to my happy self. My foster mom thinks I’ll chase cats though. I also will chase squirrels and won’t stop…I stay laser focued.

I have normal energy for a puppy and am a happy pup; I’m a silly, sweet, fun-loving girl.

I am quite social with people and affectionate too.

My foster family say that I am mature for my age.

I would really love a family who likes outdoor activities and will take me along. I absolutely love the outdoors and seeing new sights. Hiking is one of my favorite things. Although I am still learning to jump into the car, once I’m in I ride beautifully and enjoy the ride.

I’ll be waiting with my foster family in Union City. Hope to meet you!
