ME
I’m Noel! I’m a 10 month old girl mixed with something pretty cute-maybe Labrador. I’m about 50 pounds with a black and tan coat and floppy ears. My new friends with BAGSR took me in when a bunch of us dogs were rescued from a hoarding situation.

I have been scared of some new sights and sounds but am trying to handle it all with courage. When I saw the dog doc for my vaccines, even though it was scary, without a fuss I let her do what she needed to do.

I’m a curious, friendly pup who meets new people with happiness despite my lack of experience with getting out in the world.

My ideal adopter would be someone who will patiently expose me to new situations and understands that there is so much that I’ve yet to see and hear. As I’m introduced to new things I am actually quite accepting of them. I was really nervous about getting into a car but once my new friends showed me that it wasn’t scary, I was fine being lifted in-haha…..I’m sure soon I’ll be jumping in by myself.

I like treats a lot; in fact, I snuck some off the kitchen table at my foster home.  I don’t have much experience with toys yet …. but my foster mom says that I am quite playful.

I am a soft responsive girl and a good listener. I’m also pretty trusting especially given what I’ve been through and I really enjoy being close to my people. Groups of people still make me nervous but I quickly learn to trust the people I know.

I have shown interest in cats but no chasing or aggression toward them. Because of my soft demeanor, I may be cat workable.

I walk nicely on leash and do well with other dogs.

A new family who will help me build confidence and who will enjoy seeing me blossom would be perfect.

I’m basically a sweet, gentle girl just waiting for someone to love me, teach me things and show me the fun a companion dog should have.

I’ll be waiting with my foster mom in Oakland. Hope to meet you!
