My name is Otis. I’m a black and tan 2 year old boy GSD.  I’m a big boy weighing in at about 90 pounds. But, I could afford to lose a few pounds. I don’t get a lot of exercise where I live now so I’m sure some playing and walks will resolve those extra pounds. No need for Jenny Craig or anything like that. 

I’m looking for a strong leader. It will be a relief to let someone lead the way. But someone has to lead and if no one will, I will feel the need to take on the job. 

I am a nice boy but can be a bit standoffish with people I don’t know. I will bond strongly with my new family for sure. 

Also, with proper introductions I am fine with other dogs. I have lived with a cat before so I may do fine with one in the family. 

I have nice house manners and currently have to spend lots of time alone. So I would really love a home where someone is available to spend time with me.

Leash walks would be great so I can get into shape! I’m still a youngster and an active lifestyle will be really fun for me. 

I like to play ball and won’t destroy my other toys. 

I am a smart boy and I’m sure we would enjoy going to training classes together. I’m off to a great start; I already know some basic commands.
