Portia has been with us for a month while she recovers from a dog mauling.  When she came to us, she had many puncture wounds all over her body, in varied degrees of healing.  Unbelievably, she is good with other dogs!

Portia is 2-3 years old, with a beautiful thin frame, and dressed all in black.  She does need to gain a bit of weight, but that should come soon.

Portia came directly from the vet to her foster home.  She immediately fit in to her new life with multiple dogs and cats and new people.  She wants all the attention possible, so we’re looking for a home where she will be the only dog; she’d also like to be with her people much of the time.  She’s very affectionate and loves to be petted.  She is completely trustworthy in the house, all the time, has wonderful manners and rides nicely in the car.

Portia loves going for walks, but she pulls because she enjoys smelling everything.
