Rookie is one darling little pup.  She was born on May 18th, 2014, in a litter of 8.  Rookie is happy, well-adjusted and ready for her furever home.  She is as house-trained as she can be at her young age, but her success also requires her humans to remind her to go outside to relieve.  She is extremely affectionate and an expert at giving hours of kisses to anyone she meets; recently she attended 2 fundraisers where she was the kissing-booth star, loved and dotted on by everyone!

Rookie is great with other dogs and cats, and lives with chickens and bunnies.  However, the chicken recently got plucked when it flew into Rookie’s kennel…  we’d say that chickens may not be safe.  It was all in fun for Rookie, but the chicken didn’t think so.  OH, not to worry, the chicken lived and is fine; she just has fewer feathers.

Rookie is extremely social; we’re looking for an experienced family to help her soar into adulthood and throughout her life.  She’s a level 4 dog due to her age.
