Hi! My rescuers gave me the beautiful name of Saachi which means Child of Joy. This fits me and I am loving life with my foster family as I wait for my very own, forever people.

I’m a sweet affectionate girl and weigh about 65 pounds.  I have a bit of weight to gain still to be at my healthiest size. Trust me….it’s been fun working on this! I get lots of yummy, healthy meals and I do enjoy my food.

My new friends think I’m about 7 years old. I’ll need continuing medication for a mild-medium heart murmur and I have some sores on my legs that seem to be getting better. I have been getting regular medical care since my rescue and I’ll need an adopter who will continue to help me by providing me with a healthy lifestyle. I’ll do best with a nutritious diet, regular moderate exercise, and lots of love from my people.

I sure enjoy taking walks and relish going on adventures in the car too. I’m a joy to take along as I have a soft, easy demeanor.

I am loving and caring toward people and other dogs and I even like the cat at my foster home.

I have beautiful house manners and I also really enjoy running and playing in the yard.

If you’d like to meet me, I’ll be waiting with my super foster fam in Newcastle.
