Scout is an 10 month old male German Shepherd / Malinois mix who was surrendered to the shelter as he was too much dog for his family.

He lived most of his life outdoors.

He is a gentle and athletic boy who is very affectionate and sweet.

In his former home Scout lived with 2 small dogs, cats and a 6 year old child.  He loves children and other animals.

He is both crate and kennel trained.  He is a smart dog who has had some basic training and knows down, sit, and shake.

He does pull and could use some work on leash walks, but is manageable.  He may pester a cat but is cat-workable.

Scout arrived with us in time for Thanksgiving. His foster mom said he bonds quickly and has great recall.
