Dennis Dougherty and Shyla just announced their new global food sponsorship deal!

Shyla is just a tiny little thing, about 8 months old and about 40 pounds.  She needs groceries and a stable, happy life, which she’s already been introduced to.  She is learning to trust people; she even came in the house wagging almost furiously, AND she began eating treats out of her human’s hand.  That was a milestone!  

Shyla met Test Kitty and passed.  Shyla is a very gentle dog with the personality of a very gentle being.  We would expect Shyla will be good living with the average cat that is nice to dogs.

Shyla was a stray with his sister Benz.  They are very bonded and depend on each other, but we’ll be separating them soon so they can gain confidence and become more trusting of people.  They’re not fearful; they’re cautious.  We guess that they lived in their yard with little interaction, stimulation or affection.  However, even at their day mark in rescue, they become more playful and happy.

This cutie pie will be spayed soon and placed into a foster home where she will bloom and flourish as a loved family member.  Check back soon to see how she’s doing.
