My name is Steve. Yeah…I know kinda different for a GSD like me; I was named after a favorite volunteer at the shelter because I take after him – I’m ruggedly handsome, smart, engaging and sensitive too! I am a 10 month old boy pup.

I am such a nice guy that my new friends wonder how I ended up at the shelter and how it’s possible that I was unclaimed.

I have lots to learn and need some practice walking on leash. Everything is new for me. But because of my temperament I will make an awesome companion dog. I am cooperative and eager to please; I’m gentle and friendly with all kinds of people.

I am fine with other dogs too. In fact I have good instincts and understand how to meet dogs with all sorts of temperaments.

I look for attention from my humans and seek pets and affection. I have moderate energy for a boy my age but am quite athletic. I can easily scale a cyclone fence.

I can’t wait to get to my new family. I hope you’d like to meet me!
