Teddy has just joined us.  His previous owner truly rescued Teddy from a horrible situation several months ago.  Teddy was given lots of food, and he got healthy.  Teddy learned what fun and love was, and he’s a playful, happy 11 month old.  Rumor has it that Teddy was born on Christmas day, 2013.

Teddy loves to play with toys, plays a nice game of fetch and returns the ball.  While he didn’t have much doggie socialization, after 30 minutes of watching other foster dogs play and run about, Teddy joined them and hasn’t stopped.  He fit in perfectly!  He would be a nice dog park dog as he is friendly with all.  Teddy has a nice disposition and will be a nice, friendly dog.

Teddy had been an outside dog.  He’s acclimated nicely to living indoors, sleeping in a crate and going outside to play in his new foster home.

Teddy hasn’t had any training, and training is a must for this big boy.  He does jump up on people and it’s pretty forceful.  It’s not malicious, just a lack of training behavior.  We’re working on that.

Teddy passed the kitty test!!  He was frightened of Professional Test Kitty.

He has a lot of learning ahead of him, but once he learns the routine and rules, Teddy will be a great family dog.  He’s a big pup, a level 4, and living in the easy bay.
