Tess is proud to announced her new US sponsorship deal with Renee Coffeen

Peter Fortune and Tess just announced their new sponsorship – woof and yay! 

Tess is a sweet, gentle, soft dog.  She is about 2 year old.

She has settled in with the other foster dogs she is living with.  She doesn’t play with other dogs, but she hangs out well.  When another dog bothers her – like an irritating human sibling does with another, she grouches back with a minor scuffle.  It is appropriate correction, but we’d prefer she not have to ‘practice’ that behavior too often.  SO, we’re hoping that Tess will either be an only dog in her new home, or she can be with another dog that does not try to instigate play.

Tess is good with cats.  She met some neighboring sheep, which she was fine with, licking their noses.  She recently met some young children, and she was a bit nervous; for her sake, she shouldn’t go to a home with children under 12 years old.

Tess has nice manners, is compliant and wants to do the right thing.  She walks respectfully on leash.  She is trustworthy in the house, sleeping free or quietly in a crate with door open or closed.  She is a level 2 dog in an east bay foster home.
