Travis was picked up in Petaluma. The amazing team at Petaluma Animal Services saved him, dealt with a dental issue with a tooth extraction and treated him wonderfully.
He flew through his evaluation with us as he was great with other dogs and a real lover boy with people. He is NOT good with cats. He has a very soft mouth taking treats as gently as any large dog can, it’s almost like a kiss as he takes them from your hand.
He weighs about 75 pounds and is an affectionate softy and very low key, once he settles. Travis is still learning to control his excitement and needs a watchful handler as he likes to jump up very suddenly leading with his snout. It’s all joy and fun for him but can easily result in his snout hitting you in the face. His foster is working on this with him and he is improving – but he’s a big dog and can easily stare a 6 foot man in the face!
He does well in a car and simply wants to love his peeps.
